THE BENEVOLENT INVESTIGATOR LEADERSHIP STYLE

OR THE EMPATHIC ANALYTICAL

The Benevolent Investigator is quite rare. While you are extroverted, feeling and intuitive, there is a part of you that is systemic, data oriented and risk averse. You have the ability to be empathetic but can command respect from analytical people like engineers or scientists.

You move easily between the worlds of facts and people as you do between data and influence. The key is to be able to move gracefully between both worlds.

You have two sides : Facts and Relationships. Trust is a key issue for you. Your relationship side trusts easily, yet your trust gets betrayed. Your analytical side trusts very rarely because they haven't valued the data.

You are intuitive and value relationships, you are also risk averse and love data. It’s the verified information, the data, that allows you to trust others.

You value relationships and you need the facts. People may not know which side they are talking to. The key is to be able to move gracefully between both worlds.

Your Greatest Gift

Your greatest gift is you are the anchor of reality. You are non-judgmental and adapt easily to a changing environment.

Your Deepest Wound

Your deepest wound is learning how to trust. You want to trust, but you don’t like unwarranted change and uncertainty. While you appear warm and friendly, you need data to learn how to trust what people tell you. To verify that they’re credible.

Communication

You communicate by being conceptual and creative. However you need to validate what people are saying with facts. While you can be analytical, you are also highly creative and very empathic.

Decision Making

To make decisions, while you need to associate with your emotions, you don’t take people at face value. You need to validate your decisions with facts. You like to feel good about building confidence in others.

You like surrounding yourself with people you respect, which helps you make better decisions.

You dislike conflict. As a result you may be passive aggressive in your communications. You trust easily and quite often your gets betrayed. As a result your boundaries with others may be unclear.

In any given time people seem to misunderstand you. That’s because they don’t know whether they are speaking to your relationship side or your risk averse side.

You are both concrete and conceptual. These two parts of you change throughout the day, depending on the environment and who you are talking to. If you are triggered by someone, check in see how you’re feeling. Remember that feelings aren’t facts.

Personal Growth

Find the balance between feelings and facts. Your environment plays a strong role in how you see the world and how you respond to change. You are spontaneous and casual only when you are familiar with the people and situation. You are more reserved with people you don’t know. Step into your power.

To be more productive take an action. Don't allow people to dream with you or they can waste your time. Put things in writing. Use your creativity and then systematize the outcome with facts and figures. Become concrete as well as conceptual. Create actionable tasks and projects with milestones.

Working with your Team:

The challenge in working with your team is not letting others know where you stand on an issue. Try to not to implement decisions without completely involving everyone on the team. Let them have a hand in designing solutions.

The keys to personal growth are finding balance between feelings and facts. Your environment plays a strong role in how you see the world and how you respond to change.
